Mr. Charles Mbandji, philanthropist, Chairman and CEO of Moya Leading Group Inc., holds an MBA from the International University of Monaco (IUM), specializing in wealth management and entrepreneurship.
He also earned a D.E.S.S. in Industrial Engineering, focusing on technological project management with expertise in Fintech, and is a chemical engineer from École Polytechnique de Montréal with additional qualifications in energy and environmental studies.
Additionally, he obtained a certificate from Monaco’s Académie de la Mer during the inaugural training session, “Promotion Prince Rainier III.”
Mr. Mbandji has a distinguished career in industrial and financial sectors. He contributed to Syncrude’s hydrogenation process for synthetic crude upgrading and led a biogas valorization project to produce hydrogen from domestic waste, incorporating ESG metrics in collaboration with SEMEC and the Quebec Government.
He ranked among the top 10 in the Montreal Exchange stock options trading simulation and worked as an Investment Agent for the National Bank of Canada. In 2021, he conducted a financial analysis of METRO Inc. to assess its market value and long-term creditworthiness. As a candidate for the engineering profession (CPI) with the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), Mr. Mbandji continues to demonstrate expertise in sustainable and innovative solutions.
The Entrepreneurship Award 2024, sponsored by the Teofilo Intato Institute, fosters and encourages an entrepreneurial spirit through IUM’s MBA program. Mr. Mbandji received this honor for his groundbreaking initiative to reduce carbon emissions and the environmental impact of the oil refining process, reflecting his dedication to impactful innovation.
